The ABOVE THE BARRE Facility

Above the Barre's School of Dance recently merged with Thome-Ohio Gymnastics combining to make the new 'Above the Barre - School of Dance, Gymnastics and All-Star Cheer!' We are an establishment with great success in offering dance, gymnastics, tumbling and all-star cheerleading services.

Our facility is currently under construction, being specifically re-designed for dance, gymnastics and cheerleading. We are re-designing our facility to include 1 spring floor, a NEW in-ground foam pit, on and in-ground resis, NEW dance rooms, NEW pre-k gymnastic areas and much more state-of-the-art equipment.

Above the Barre is proud to support and maintain strong relationships with our neighboring schools as we provide housing for their cheer and tumbling classes and practices.


The TOP All-Star Cheer Program

Influenced by Above the Barre's great success in dance and Thome-Ohio's great success in gymnastics, our all-star program was yet another great hit. We owe this success to our amazing and talented staff members who put their personal experience and knowledge to great use. They deliver effective training as they conduct practices in a safe and friendly environment.


Benefits

The benefits of being a member of our cheer program are endless! We encourage and help our members develop strong relationships with one another. Throughout the season we attend and participate in various events such as in-house cheer camps, summer performances, competitions, car washes, theme parties, sleepovers, among other team bonding activities.


Team Work

A cheerleading team is composed of members whom each take an important role as they are part of as a unit—aka squad. Teamwork is not only an important concept in cheerleading but it is also crucial to understand how it influences one’s lifestyle. Here at TOP we teach and express the importance of getting along, working together, achieving goals together, growing up together and most importantly having fun together.
